During the 2011 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia 21 ice hockey statues will be placed in the streets and squares of the capital city of Bratislava. The statues are painted according to drafts, submitted by national ice hockey associations of the 16 participating countries, which they will represent. After the final whistle all statues will be put up for auction to raise money to support young Slovak ice hockey talents.
Take a picture with one of the statues in the streets of Bratislava and share your passion for ice hockey with other fans. Choose the statue that you find most interesting or the one that represents your home country or favourite team, strike a pose and then upload your photo to the photo gallery.
You can share a picture even when there is no statue on it. Just showing your support for your favourite team and enjoying the atmosphere of the World Championship is enough. Upload a photo of you with your friends, other fans from accross the globe or even random passers-by and show it to the public.
